Some records not pulling gift attribute into receipt

I am receipting about 100 gifts to our childcare swim for the Y event. I'm using Mail > Receipts. So far I've found 5 letters where the gift attribute is not pulling into the letter. I have the child's name that they sponsored as a gift attribute description. I have looked at the records for those who did not merge and cannot determine why. For records in Mail, I'm using the gifts/records in the batch. Gift attribute was entered via the batch. Child's name shows in the batch and on the gift record. Some are new constituent records, some old records.


I'm running 7.93 (update later this week).


Any ideas why?

    I doubt I'm going to be of any help since we're hosted (latest patch), I never use Mail, and I know you are an experienced user, but I took a peek at Mail -> Receipts and I can see a few places that might cause your issue.


    Did you verify the missing gifts exist in the query before porting them into Mail? Assuming you have:


    Do the Gift Dates of the the missing gifts fall outside of your include dates on Tab 1??


    Do the Gift Amounts of the missing gifts fall outside of your gift amount includes on Tab 1?


    Inactive, Deceased, Lost on Tab 1?


    Have you set any filters on Tab 3 which could be fitering them out?


    Do you have Exclusions on Tab 4 that are overriding your inclusions?


    Are the missing gifts of a Gift Type you have not included in Tab 7?


    That's all I've got.

    Do the Gift Dates of the the missing gifts fall outside of your include dates on Tab 1?? Include all dates


    Do the Gift Amounts of the missing gifts fall outside of your gift amount includes on Tab 1? No criteria here - pulls all


    Inactive, Deceased, Lost on Tab 1? Checked to include inactive and no valid address


    Have you set any filters on Tab 3 which could be fitering them out? No, just fund and the whole batch was for that fund and I double checked gift records.


    Do you have Exclusions on Tab 4 that are overriding your inclusions? No inclusions or exclusions on Tab 4


    Are the missing gifts of a Gift Type you have not included in Tab 7? only gift type is cash - they are all cash gifts


    That's all I've got.

    Thanks for trying, Ryan.  I found even more as I scrolled thru the letters. Names, addresses, amounts, payment type - all the other merge fields pulled fine.  I just can figure this one out.
