Hi! 

I am pulling a summary report for all giving $1,000 or greater to a specific set of fund. I have created the query and it is working properly expect one set of the funds is not pulling the corrent total of giving.  Any suggestions on why this is happening. 

Total amount of gifts > Gift type one of ( Cash, Pay Cash, MG Pay Cash, MG pay cash, Stock....) And Fund ID one of RRMC Lin ACC, RRMC LinAcc IT And Gift Date less than 1/1/18

    You're pulling a query to get summary info - just to check is your criteria Total amount of gifts > than $1000 or is it greater than or equal to ?


    The difference in your post caught my eye.


    Can you identify a record that is not pulling the correct amount? Are any of the boxes at the top of query - deceased, inactive... mark incorrectly?

    It is pulling equal to or greater. I consdered changing to to greater than 999.99.  It is not a single record it is multiple records but the same summary information.  the other two i have in the query are running correctly. There are not additional boxes checked.  I have even deleted and tried again to fix it.

    A couple of thoughts...


    Is it a soft credit issue?


    Is it an issue with pledges/pledge payments/pledge balances counting incorrectly?

    If your gift is spilt between your criteria fund and another fund it will not show the proper amount. In order to get the proper amount you must take your  query into an Export and re-enter the criteria you used for the query. Then scan the output and make sure all your amounts are $1,000+. You may have to do some manual clean-up after the export.

    I caught this when we were converting a year ago and our on-site person said he'd send it up the line to the developers, but I never heard anything about it.
