Looking for number of current donors who did not give last year but may have given in a prior time period

I am looking for an easy way to get a count of the number of our current donors who did not give last year but may have given in a prior year. I can probably run some queries to find this number and % but if someone has a simple way to gain from canned reports I would appreciate your help.

I believe you are looking for SYBUNTs...Some Years But Unfortunately Not This (Year).

You can find SYBUNT reports under [Reports] > [Analytical Reports] > [SYBUNT Report]. There are also LYBUNT reports...Last Year But Unfortunately Not This (Year).

Sounds like you're looking for a SYBUNT report (Some Year But Unfortunately Not This). Fortunately, this is a built in report in RE. Go to Reports > Analytical Reports > SYBUNT Report. You'll need to change the date range in the top field on the General tab to "last year," and if there are any campaigns, funds, appeals, or gift types you want it to ignore, you can dial in those settings in the Filters and Gift Types tabs.

The report gives you the name and address of everyone who shows up, but if you go to the last page of the report you'll see a count of the total number of donors. Also, if you check the "Create a Constituent output query" box on the General tab in the lower left hand corner, you'll get a static query with all those folks in it, which you can use in whatever way you want.
