Editing a table Entry

Options
What constitutes a "non-standard table" ?   When reading the RE7 Configuration and Security Guide, it stated that when you change an entry on a non-standard table such as Benefits, the change does not affect records that already contain the entry. The example given was changing the table entry name from Strategic Planning to Long Term Planning in a Committees Table.

What is the difference between a standard and non-standard table?  Thanks

  • I imagine they mean tables that are not pre-populated by Blackbaud (which would be non-standard) vs ones that are pre-populated (which would be standard). That's just a guess based on context though. Someone else may know more certainly.
  • Thanks for the response Ryan. I had never thought of that as a possibility. Will have to check that out as it seems a very likely explanation.

    thanks again
