Donation form selections - alert planned giving

Just an idea that you might want to try


How about embedding a survey through "HTML Caption" element and the use of S28 tag (ideally, embed a pagebuilder with a survey API so you have better control of the rendering and flow) -- where that particular question which ask donors if they are interested in learning more about planned giving is ported onto as survey question vs "data element" component of the donation form.


The reason why I thought survey approach is that you could send email notification alert upon the submission of that survey to whoever is added into the list for the notification; not to mention you could associate these folks into a custom group where you can query and target for further cultivation.

Hi,


On our donation form we ask donors if they are interested in learning more about planned giving. Is there a way to send an email alert to our planned giving group when a donor checks this option that they would like to learn more about planned giving? We were able to send such an alert with our previous donation platform and have been asked to determine if/how we can do the same with LO.
