Organization primary contact is not showing up in query

How can do I get the primary contact of a organization to display in a query. I am trying to pull a query of both constituents and organizations.

    Should be able to find the field you need in constituent query under Relationships > Contacts > Contact Type - select Primary for the name and then any other fields you need.

    When I do that in the output section, it doesn't give me the option to choose the type. In the query report it just shows the contact type (primary, secondary). I want to be able to see the name.

    Ryan posted your answer -  output other fields you need like name.


    If using Primary Contact as a criteria doesn't let you pull all the records you want, use Query as the grouping tool it is intended to be and take your query to the Export function and there just export the primary contact type, name and info.
