Annual Statement Report with Appeal Added

I am trying to figure out how to run an Annual Statement Report for 2017 with the final report including a column that includes the Appeal information. I've called support. Each time they need to defer to investigate. With the middle of the month here, I ant to get this report done and sent for our constituents. Any and all help GREATLY appreciated.

    I am working on this at this very moment.  I am using an export that pulls itemized giving (one line per gift) that includes the following data:


     


    gift date


    gift type


    appeal ID


    Package ID


    Gift Amount

    Receipt Amount


     


    THen I merge this into a word document that has the merge fields in a table with totals at the bottom of the amount columns.  




    We include some text at the bottom.

    As you found, it doesn't seem to be a field that's avaiable for the Annual Statement Report.


    Could you possibly pull the info you need into the Constituent Giving History report? Appeal is available and looks like most of the other needed fields.


    Otherwise you may be looking at creating a custom Crystal document or just exporting all the data and creating your own form.

     I think that a custom Crystal report would be the way to go. Then you could make it however you wanted to be.

  • You could create a Pivot report, under Reports. I have one example attached that groups by Campaign Fund and Appeal. Group the date by year or year/month. 

    Maybe an easier solution than a Crystal report, even though not half as pretty ;-)
