Looking for anyone running a grateful patient program who has advice on how to determine which patients each day are already in your database. We are using our wealth screening vendor but their matching efforts fall far short of what we need. I'm going to take a look at Omatic to accomplish this but wonder how/what others do.

    Hi Mark, we store a patient record number (a.k.a. FRN, fake record number, this is NOT the same number as the medical record number) on the patient's constituent record as an Alias.  If they are a returning patient that is how we know they are already in the database.  If they are a new patient we use ImportOmatic to do the matching and add the FRN to their existing or new RE record.
