I have a major donor who gave a large yearend gift in memory of 16 different people who passed this year. If I enter the total dollar amount in one row of Batch, can I link 16 different honor/memorial records to that one gift? If not, should I entered one row for each honor/memorial and use 1/16 of the total as the gift amount? What a way to end the year!!

Hi Gail-

Yes, you can link a single gift to 16 different tributes from within Batch. I just tested this and was able to link one gift to 17 different tributes.

One thing to watch out for is that it will apply the full gift amount to all 16 honor/mem tributes. This has been a problem for us if those funds are later designated toward a memorial brick, etc.
