New to OLX - Analytics?

We are moving from MyEmma to OLX. We've updated to RE NXT, and with that, we've decided to move our email sends over to OLX.

MyEmma has some decently robust analytics. I'm beginning to discover that OLX does not.

Please talk to me about what can and cannot be done with email analytics in OLX.

We would like to be able to show analytics on email campaigns (groups of emails from certain email addresses - ex. "alumni@findlay.edu" analytics, "thefindlayfund@findlay.edu" analytics, etc.). From everything that I've read so far in the OLX forum, there doesn't seem to be a way to pull group or campaign analytics. I hope I'm wrong.

Also, how can we incorporate Google Analytics into our email sends to show clicks from our emails to our website?

Do those groups of emails all go to teh same mail lists? Or does alumni@findlay.edu send multiple emails to varying groups of addresses? If it's the second, I'm not sure there's anything inherent in OLX that can run the analytics you're looking for. The analytics in OLX are not very robust at all. I would probably manage them as appeal categories (i.e. OLX - alumni) or something like that. Then you can run other queries/reports once the email stats are added to RE.

One thing worth noting - in the last NXT roadmap I watched, they mentioned a new way to view live analytics for OLX emails was coming. Where they will have a separate location apart from appeals. I'm hoping that will come with additional reporting/analytics as well!

Each of the sender emails (alumni@findlay.edu; thefindlayfund@findlay.edu, etc.) would send to specific segments, but those segments will be varied throughout the year.

We're actually looking at ways we might be able to attach tracking URLs, via Google Analytics, to the buttons within our emails that might help us segment the analytics within our Google Analytics account and pull reports there. It will add steps to the email creation process, but that might be the way we have to go for awhile I guess.

It's encouraging to hear that OLX is considering expanding their analytics capabilities!
