Dashboard Security for Appeal Summary

I know I must be missing something obvious.  I set up a Dashboard for our development director.  I had 4 panels - 1)a constituent code summary, 2) Donor giving analysis, 3) appeal summary and 4) amount received for a particular fund (our capital campaign).  I shared the dashboard but only the first two items appear when she logs in.  


I went into her security group and found that under Options View Appeal Summary was not checked, nor was Options>Funds>View Fund Summary.  I checked those boxes then had the user log out and log back in.  The appeal summary and fund summary panels still do not show up. 


We are hosted (which I am still getting used to, since at my last job RE was not hosted).  Is there a step I'm missing?

  • Once a user shares your dashboard, they need to delete it and re-share it to receive any updates to the Dashbaord that they themselves have not made. I don't know if this translates under increased security privileges, but when I add a new appeal to my own dashboard, I have to have my other users delete the shared dashboard and re-share it, for the new appeal to load. Maybe try that?
