Hi, my organization is new at NXT. We are in the process of setting up our website which includes the option to donate online. While trying to create the online forms, it asks you to add "funds" that donors can contribute to. Now our organization works with scholarships and we have numerous funds and scholarships under donor's names, chapters, class, etc. How do we allocate these contributions without listing the "entire database" on the online donation form? Do you manually re-allocate these contributions after downloading the transactions? Does linking the records allow you to manually re-allocate the gifts? This is so when we do future queries, reports, it will be consistent with the gifts we receive "offline" from the same donors. Hope my question makes sense. Thank you for any and all input!

    How do you usually offer these choices to donors? As in, how are they listed on the paper reply cards?  You COULD list them all, or you could leave an "Area of Greatest Need" option and allow the "additional fund" option where they can type in whatever fund they want. 


    If you do not list all the funds, you will need to manually link the fund for each gift when you download them. (which is as easy as searching for a fund in batch.)
