Get ID attribute for a calendar event

Does anyone know how to get the ID attribute for a calendar event using an S-tag?

For instance, if this is the URL: test.convio.net/site/Calendar?id=100064&view=Detail. I want to get "100064".

I know with a TeamRaiser you can use S80:tr_ID, but I'm having trouble finding a similar tag for the calendar event ID.

I'm about 99% sure you want [[S120:event:{parameter}]], but I'm not certain what parameter value is needed. Try [[S120:event:getTogetherActivityId]]. That's my best guess this moment until I am at my desk and can look more closely at how Luminate references the ID on the backend.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I tried adding "[[S120:event:getTogetherActivityId]]", but it's not getting the Calendar Event ID. It just prints "event:getTogetherActivityId" onto the page.

I had been looking at the Quick Reference/S-Tags docs, but didn't think of using S120. I'll keep looking into it, but if you have any further thoughts, please let me know.

Thanks for the reply. I've been digging into using S120, but I'm guessing I'm using it wrong. I just keep getting the tag showing on the page instead of the results of the tag, e.g., "[[S120:event:eventName]]" literally prints "Event Name" to the page; and "[[S120:event:event]]" prints "event:event".

The simpliest way to get query string parameters out of the URL is to use S334.

Depending on the use, you could do var eventID = '[[S334:id]]';

Or just "Thanks for registering for This Awesome Event ([[S334:id]])" and that will render as "Thanks for registering for This Awesome Event (10064)"

In the case of [[S80:tr_ID]] - it requires someone to set "tr_ID" as a session variable - typically [[U0:tr_ID=[[S334:tr_id]]]] in the pagewrapper. But utlimately it does rely on S334 to initially capture and set the id for the teamraiser event.

Also of note - the Event S120 tags only work in autoresponders

And not the admin UI.

Thanks Sara. [[S334:id]] did the trick.....turns out when I first tried that I had tried [[S334:ID]]....failed because I had capitalized the "ID".... Thanks for your help!
