TIME-SENSITIVE CALL FOR HELP: Trouble Opening RE Events Mobile App

When I try to open RE Events Mobile app on our iPads I get the following message: ''the developer of this app needs to update it to work with iOS 11". We have a $500,000 - revenue-raising event this weekend and we've built our registration around checking people in and taking their payments with this app - if RE can't get it updated in time - anyone have any workaround ideas????

According to my IT department, RE developers need to 'flip a couple switches' to get it fixed - I'm working with our account manager but in the meantime..... Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

    We are hard as work as we speak rebuilding the app to support iOS 11. There is a KB article explaining the current issue that you are describing: https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/110368


    Unfortunately, until we are able to get a rebuilt version submitted to the iOS app store, there isn't a way to get it to work with iOS 11, however there are other apps experiencing similar issues and there are instructions posted on various tech blogs online walking through a "how-to" for downgrading iOS to 10.3.3.
