Online Express Marketing Newsletter

How are other organizations using the Online Express Newsletter? Our organization had planned to send the newsletter out thru Online Express but in testing it we are finding that the newsletter is going directly to junk mail or spam. Does anyone have a suggestion?

  • Check your subject line, and the From address you're using, as I believe either can affect messages being filtered.

Are you sending test messages to addresses at your org?  If so, have you IT department check into this...I had a problem at my previous org where some of the in-house emails were receiving the message and others were being caught by spam filters.  IT did something, from a KB article, that fixed this.  You should try using a test email address @gmail or any domain other than your org's to see what happens there.

If you don't have them, you might consider setting up a variety of generic emails at gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc., saving those email addresses in a text file for easy copy-and-pasting to the Test Message box.  Then, you can not only check deliverability of your message, but also see how it appears on different platforms.

I asked a similar question earlier in the year and got some good answers from people back. Here's the thread.
