Maximum # of registrants per price type workaround?

Aside form a note instructing them to purchase each table of 10 through a separate transaction -- eg, filling out the form again -- the only suggestion on a workaround that I can see would be to create a price point called "One seat" and a price point for "One table". Then if a person buys 2 tables, that would be simply 2 items instead of 20. The drawback for this is that table purchasers would not be able to enter their guest names for people filling their seats. But, in our experience, table hosts rarely have all their guest names anyway, at the time they purchase table sponsorships, and they are still emailing names to us up to a couple days before. So a simple instruction to "please email guest names to events@nonprofit.org " might suffice.
