examples of online express embedded donation pages

We've just acquired Online Express and will be setting up its donations pages soon on our website. I was hoping to look at the websites of other organizations using Online Express, to see examples of how such pages can look on the web page. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, our one-off donation page is run through OLX. You can take a look at www.treeaiddonate.org.uk/single-donation/

  • Elizabeth, here is a link to our donation page https://ywcanashville.com/give-help/donate.  Very easy to put together and embed on the page.
  • Hi Elizabeth

We've recently set up a donation page which uses Online Express. Feel free to have a look at it.

Things to note are that everything below the initial paragraph is made using OLX. We match colours using RGB/Hex.

Also, in case this isn't something you've done before, keep your online donation page simple and have a minimum number of fields as this promotes conversion and reduces confusion.

Our donation website is here: https://www.rdns.com.au/donate-now/

Here is our donation page (using OLX)   http://www.donnelly.edu/give/give-now

  • Hi Elizabeth!

Here is an example of one of our OLX donation pages https://www.fanshawec.ca/foundation/ways-give/student-awards/donate-now-student-awards.

There are several others accessible from that one through the other pages under "Ways to Give".

    Good luck with your implementation!

  • Mine too. So happy!
  • We have one main donation page and one for our Summer Programs. We also have a third one that our gift entry person uses everytime a donor shares their credit card information with us - I've not shared the link on that as we keep it internal. It allows her to enter gifts to any fund and a lot more options for recurring giving.

We have one for regular giving sign ups here https://www.redcross.org.nz/donate/where-the-need-greatest/monthly/

And one for one off gifts from international donors is here https://www.redcross.org.nz/donate/international/

We actually do not use OLX for our main one off donation form mainly because it take too long to load the OLX part of the form - even those few extra seconds could lose us donations and in times of disasters we can receive over 1000 online donations a day. And also we cannot customise the address fields further and they have not been fully customised for NZ (not every address in NZ has a suburb but you cannot leave this blank so we have had to add N/A to the top of our table).

One thing I will say is that these forms expose some of your RE tables to the world e.g. titles, address elements, etc. so make sure you keep these tables tidy so donors can find values quickly - check your sorting, spelling, look for duplicates and rubbish values. This may be an issue if you allow multiple users to add new values to your tables. If anyone accepts donations from NZ I am happy to share our NZ Suburb and NZ City values - just message me.

Hey Shaun! Thank you for sharing your webpage with the example. We really liked the page, especially where you can toggle between the buttons 'Give to Our Students and Schools" etc. I am assuming those buttons were generated in the Online Express form, how did you guys set those up?

    Thank you!

  • Here are a few of ours.  We are brand new to OLX as well.  We did our first campaign for annual fund and it did great.

  • Hey Shaun! I'd love to know how you set up the ability to toggle between the different giving options as well. That's a great feature in your giving page!
  • Hi,

We are using OLX donation page too, I'm just wondering how you were able to put the background pictures on your embeded form?  We are using wordpress.

    Thank you :)

    Hi Chris,

They are actually four separate forms (currently!) - our website is done using WordPress, and our our web team set up each "tab" to load a different form when it is clicked.

  • Hey Shaun!

Any tips for how you manipulated your website to be able to toggle between the different Online Express forms?

    Thank you!

    Best,

    Hi Claudia,

See my post above your one. They are separate forms and each button loads a different form on the same page. Our website is done using WordPress and our webteam made it happen for me!
