ScaleFunder and CRM

Options

We are evaluating ScaleFunder as a crowdfunding platform at UA and are interested in hearing from other CRM sites that are using this application.  Have you built a customization that allows the data to be brought into CRM?  Are you satisfied with the solution?

  • At the University of Iowa Foundation, we are using ScaleFunder for some small university fundraising projects. We have been handing the import of information manually because our volume is currently low. We do have this on our list for integration in the future. We have integration with iModules for our online giving gifts. The one issue we run into there is having to have 1 batch for constituent updates and another for the gifts - our gift accountants wish we could have one batch for both adding/updating of constituents and adding the gifts. The way it is now, they have have to match the constituents twice - once in the constituent batch and again in the gift batch. This isn't a very efficient process for them and sometimes results in gifts getting posted to the wrong person. Would love to hear if you or anyone else has found a solution to that.

    The Enhanced Revenue Batch allows you to update basic constituent information and revenue. It does the duplicate checking and constituent match when imported into the batch. We use it when bring in online transactions. The import settings play an important role.
