Why are the numbers so off in the two areas of stats showing number of clicks? For a recent email we sent, my click total says 58 with a click rate of .5%. The detailed list below shows 103 clicks of one link. How can there be such a difference in these numbers? Am I reading it incorrectly?

    This is also happening to us. The summary at the top doesn't match the details in the list of links underneath. 


    I don't have a solution, but wanted to let you know that this is happening with other users, as well.

    It's been probably a year or more since I investigated this issue.  If I remember correctly, clicking the links in Test Sends will end up in the link counts but not in the honeycomb report.  Also, if a recipient clicks on 2 or more links, they'll be counted in the link counts for each link, but in the honeycomb report only once.


    I just looked at a recent message with some low counts.  Here are my results:


    Recipient A: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient B: 2 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient C: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient D: 2 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient E: 2 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient F: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient G: 2 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient H: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient I: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient J: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient K: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient L: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient M: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient N: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient O: 2 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks

    Recipient P: 1 link clicks; listed once in honeycomb Clicks


    So that's 21 link clicks (which is the total when adding the counts for the 4 different links in the message), and 16 different recipients.  However, the honeycomb report shows 17 Clicks.  I'm thinking perhaps I was wrong, and the test message clicks go into the honeycomb report but do not list a name when you look at the list of names behind the number (in this case, 17).  I'm not in a position to find out what the situation is with test messages for this one, but that would be my theory at this point.
