Reporting on time in prospect status

Is there going to be any way to report on the length of time that prospects stay within a specific prospect status?  Right now, in order to see how many prospects haver 'overstayed' their time in a status, we need to review each individual constituent record, and look at the 'days in status' feature on the prospect managemnt tile.

    This is a feature in NXT.  Changes to the Prospect Status are logged and you can view the History, plus a nifty graph that shows a timeline.  Here's a sample snapshot (there is a "reason" field you can fill in when changing the status, which is showing here):

    Thanks Jen - I'm trying to fin a way to use this feature for reporting - I agree, it's a great improvement!  But we need to report out on things like the average number of days a constituent spends in the 'solicitation' stage, for example.  Right now in order to get that information for a group of people, you need to manually pull up each individual record, record the numbers in a separate spreadsheet, and calculate the average in the spreadsheet, rather than having NXT do all of that for you.  The way we have to do it now takes hours and hours, for just the 500 or so constituents that are managed by fundraisers.  


    If it were on an individual basis that we needed the info, then the existing would be fine, but for aggregate statistics, there is no way to view or export the numbers.

    I imagine that will be coming.  Not sure when, though.  If you don't already read through the NXT Idea Bank regularly, I would suggest you do so.  Look for this Idea in there...if you find it, post a link in this thread, vote for it, and comment on it if you have something to add.  If you don't find it, add it and post the link in this thread.

    Currently I have an Excel spreadsheet I created by hand for each development director and a litany of formulas I use to track changes to statuses. It's very clunky, very time consuming, but it works for now. I was so excited to see the Days in Status field in NXT, but then so disappointed that it can't be viewed anywhere except on the individual's record. I have upvoted every idea I've come across, so hopefully that will be a more useful reporting feature soon. We need it as a filter in Lists, as a column field, and as an exportable data point - oooooh and maybe even a Tag. Wouldn't that be cool? Quickly create a list of all prospects with Overdue Statuses?

    I came to the community this morning looking for a way to pull this exact report. It is really frustrating that it's only available in the profile! Not helpful at all for moves management. I will go up vote every single idea :)
