Giving Search within BBNC

We've had this in place for quite a while and use it in 2 ways:


1) On our public website, we make it available for anyone to find a fund by name or fund purpose (which we have as an attribute on our fund records).

• This is often used to make honor/memorial donations.

2) For donors who have BBNC accounts, we also use it so they can make a online contribution to their OWN fund(s).

• We have this page available within their donor portal.

• It's pretty easy to set up.
• You may want to restrict the funds available by creating a query and restricting to that query in the part.
  • We have over 1600 funds so we obviously had to pare down those choices!
• We noted that if the donor couldn't find the fund they could contact us.
  • They may not know the correct name of the fund (or even part of the name) so sometimes they need to call.
