I'm trying to create a RE Dashboard to replace a Daily Gift List spreadsheet that we email to the staff. I created a gift query for gifts this year, donor name, gift amount, fund, appeal, solicitor, etc. But key information included on the current spreadsheet indicates the # of gifts and total gift amount for the donors who gave this calendar year. I get that info into a Constituent Query, but can't find a Dashboard panel that will accept a Constituent query. Any ideas?

    Thanks Aaron. I thought Solicitor Query would only pull donors with an assigned solicitor. I'll give it a try!

    In Dashboard, Raiser's Edge calls a constituent query by the name of Solicitor Query. As you correctly pointed you can get your number of gifts and total giving amount using Summary Information from within a constituent query and then use the Solicitor Query Dashboard to display your newly created constituent query.

    That's awesome it worked out! Why they named it Solicitor Query will forever be a mystery because it's just a plain old Constituent Query. I have half-a-dozen Solicitor Queries in Dashboards for checking data integrity on a weekly basis (e.g., Constits with no Title, Constits with Title but No Gender, Constits missing Street 1 and Street 2 but No Valid Address is not checked, Constits missing Nicknames required for our Add'l Addr/Sals, etc).

    Those are brilliant ideas! You know how you get used to doing things how you've always done them? (actually a pet pieve of mine). Well I never really utilized dashboards until this year, but have been so focused on setting them up for the team, I never stopped to think about how they can help my work:)
