what form do you use for event registrations with payments that can import into Raiser's Edge?

We use the events module and online express.  After completing an online registration they are directed to a thank you message and receive a confirmation email.  If people register via the mail or phone we have a form that they are required to fill out.


We do several large events each year and don't have any issues with people thinking that they have signed up when they have failed to complete the transaction.

The payment gateway is actually BBMS. Olx is connected to our BBMS account. 


Our website is built on Wordpress, but you can use pretty much any web platform. The registration for is created in Olx and then embedded onto a page on your site.  As long as you can embed javascript on the page you should be good to go.


Here's the process:

1. Set up your payment gateway (once this is done, you don't have to do it again)
2. Set up your event in RE (Event name, date, prices, benefits, etc...)
3. Set up your registration form in Online Express
   • Links to your event in RE so that gifts and registration records are created automatically
4. Embed the javascript on your website
