Yes. On a daily basis for custom Crystal Reports, occasionally for other things.

Yes - do you have a question about this?

  • My guess is you're not looking for a "Yes" or "No" answer here ;)

I suggest a read of the Help for The Raiser's Edge/Export section and the various KB articles, eg How to export a query and How to export a report to Microsoft Access.

    That should get you going.

  • Hi,

Here's some more stuff to consider.

    - Export using format "Blackbaud Report Writer Database", which is basically a .MDB file. All the correct table linking fields will automatically be included.

    - It's a good practice to export the Constituent ID, Gift ID (or Import ID, your choice), and sort key (for sorting).

    - Remember to format your fields in the export template as much as possible before exporting to Access.

    - I did a Blackbaud webinar on some miscellaneous exporting tips and timesavers just in case you're looking for some late night viewing: https://hello.blackbaud.com/Tips-and-Timesavers-WebinarSeries.html

    Enjoy! Hope this helps.

    Chris
