Anyone integrate with SureTax?

Hi there, 


Has anyone integrated Luminate Online with SureTax for ecommerce sales tax purchases? How long did it take for you to get up and running?

    Has anyone integrated Luminate Online with SureTax for ecommerce sales tax purchases? How long did it take for you to get up and running?

    I don't recall the technical part taking very long at all. Our store is pretty simple though. We only have locations in one state, and only sell shirts and hats and such.


    Some configurations with SureTax can be more complex if you have a multi-state presense or a wider variety of products. There are different tax rates on food, services, etc. 


    I think the biggest delay with us was not realizing we needed it to begin with. The eCom docs are not too clear on that, and we'd been using eCom for tickets for a while and didn't look too hard.


    The were really helpful with the set up, and there hasn't been a bump since.


    I heard BB was working on a solution for tax. Has anyone heard about details/progress with that?

    SureTax is integrated through the eCommerce tool through our sales tax vendor.  The configuration depends on as previously mentioned the complexity at which you set it up.  The sales tax setup in the system is very simple, just requires a code from the vendor.  After you've contacted SureTax, you will be prompted to walk through your specific setup for Luminate Online.  The sales tax info is passed back from SureTax into LO as part of the ecommerce process depending on your setup.
