Last year the new Luminate Beta features went live for all users of Luminate Online, and we've been making improvements and additions every since. So, we want to know, are YOU using Luminate Beta?  Copy and paste the questions below, along with your answers, in a forum reply. Your responses will help us continue to improve the next generation of Luminate Online.

    Answer: Yes


    Are you using these new features? Why or why not?

    Not at this time. There aren't any real modules setup yet to begin working in Luminate Beta at this time (e-mail, donations, eCommerce). I can see how Luminate Beta will be better once it is complete, but at this time I can only use dashboards for reporting. The List functionality just rolled out and I will explore this for e-mail, but we discontiuned our zipcode based newsletter last year. This would have been great then.

    What are you not using? Why or why not?

    I log in to Luminate Beta after I see a feature released. Check it out and then go back to Luminate Current Gen. As I wrote in the earlier question. There just isn't enough actual functionality to work with to come in here everyday. Once modules get released, then I will start working in there. Listed in the 1Q2017 roadmap are these:

    The Future of Donations • Donation Form Design • Payments/Recurring mgmt • Form Builder templates • Social insights Engagement re-invented! • Campaign design & calendar • Email design & sending • Marketing intelligence • International Sky Reporting • Multi-Center improvements • Attentive.ly Social integration • Sky API’s • Permissions 


    If these are really released in the 2H of 2017, then I will start to use Luminate Beta more.

    I do you us occasionally.  But I am mostly interested in TeamRaiser reporting and I would like to see Coaching Emails added to the report.  I do like the Luminate Email report, but we also do a lot of coaching emails in teamraiser and would really like to see it laid out just like the other report.

    Hi Patti, thanks for the feedback as I'm evaluating that now. Currently you can see TeamRaiser coaching emails in the Email dashboad. They start with "TeamRaiser Emails" and then the TR event name in the Campaign filter or the message name in the message filter. We are testing this out to see if we want to keep that data in there or if we want to break it out in some other way. Let me know what you think.

    Hi Ken:


    I would prefer they be included in the teamraiser and not in the email.  My reason is the coaching emails I feel are more a part of the teamraiser.  They are people who are already registered for our event and we are just keeping in touch with them. We do like to know who is reading our emails, etc.  I don't want those stats included with the emails we send out outside of teamraiser where we are trying to get people to register and donate.  Those are the ones that are important to us.
