S-tag for total number of Milestone achievers

I'd like to pull into a standard email (in the Communication Center, not a TeamRaiser email) the total number of TeamRaiser event participants who reached a particular Milestone (in this case, raised $1000+). Is there a pre-existing S-tag for this? Is there a way to create a custom one? Or is there some other solution?

It'd probably be a fairly simple thing to run a Milestone report and manually tally all the folks who achieved the $1000+ milestone. But that wouldn't be very cool, would it?

The only way I can think of to do this is using the teamraiser TASK to make a group for each milestone, via the Select contacts based on dollar amount raised? option.

Yep, S450.

This S-tag really just returns what's on the group's summary tab. So be sure to make your task update once a day, and then check what this tag returns vs how many members are actually in the group.

If it isn't correct, its because the task update doesn't update the summary count (I'm not sure if it does) and you'll need to do a little work-around.

(You make a query driven group that does rebuild. Use members of the task group to populate the query group. They'll have identical memberships, but the query WILL update the count. I can help with that if you need to go this route.)

Aha! Thanks very much, Brian. I have an S-Tag reference PDF … but that one obviously isn't current. No mention of S450 in the PDF. I've bookmarked the site reference and will refer to that from now on. I'll set up that task and see if it updates.
