Text to give suggestions.

We are looking at implementing a text to give program mainly for our young alums.  Anyone currently using @pay?  If you are using @pay, how satisfied are you with them? If not, is there another text to give program that you would recommend?

  • We just looked at @pay yesterday!  We were not as impressed with them as TextAim.  TextAim has more of a user interface and you can pre-load data, use an existing phone line, and respond back to them personally as if you were texting them!  You can also send pictures.  However, it is way more expensive then @pay

If you just want better mobile giving pages and a way for a donor to text a phrase to a number and get an auto response with a bity URL to donate, or can't afford much, then @pay it may be.

    Check out TextAim.
  •  I haven't used @pay but I am really interested in the mobile giving that Blackbaud Mobile offers.... but I can't tell if it is available in the US or only the UK?

Looks pretty good, though. Has anyone used it?
  • I think it's only available in the UK.

  • We use http://givebycell.com/. They were quick to set up and you can do a lot with their system online, and don't have to be registered with the Mobile Giving Foundation.

We use iDonate for our Online and Text Platform. It has an API so you can load the gifts directly into RE. You can even set up recurring giving through text. We have been very happy with them.

    Cheers,

    David

  • We have been using Txt2Give for a little more than a year, with success.  The ROI was immediate and impressive.  It is easy to export and upload donor gifts and data.  They have an online thermometer that we incorporate into our Netcommunity website for fundraising events. It handles one-time and recurring gifts.  We also have used keywords to speed the contribution process.
