We recently converted RE and have a pretty robust acquistion program.  Is there any one else that has an acquisition program?  If so, what process do you use to add the new names and gifts to RE?  Where are your names stored prior to receiving a gift from the new acquisition name?  Do you manually enter the gifts or use a hand scanner?

    Have you loooked into any of the O'matic plugins? Import OMatic? ListOmatic are two I think would help you!

    Yes, we are going to be getting ImportOmatic and List Management in the next few weeks.  I was just looking to see what some best practices were and how others were doing their acquisitions.

    At my previous job we used radio fundraisers for the majority of our acquisition program and would receive a CSV file with all the data


    We used imports - and eventually importomatic - to get the data into RE and would code new records with consitutent attributes for the aquisition source (since we had so many different radio station appeals)


    Hope your transition to RE is going well
