Dashboards in Raisers Edge

Hi all,


Myself and my organisation are very new to Raisers Edge, we are very much in the learning stages, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question!

I am having trouble locating the tab to view/create Dashboards. It is not present in my left hand menu bar, nor is it under the 'Go' tab at the top of the page... I didn't know if this is perhaps due to the version of Raisers Edge we are using?

Any help and guidance is much appreciated!

     It sounds like a security setting issue. Do you have supervisor rights or are you in a security group? If you are in a security group is the group privilege for Dashboards checked?

    Did you check the left hand side of the screen?

    Ask the supervisor user to check the security settings. You may not have permission. I think this is the only reason why "Dashboard" would not show up on the left menu.

    Also make sure that the dashboards are not being from the Superviser user's login....you will not be able to share them.  We've created a security group for users who can create the dashboards.
