Responsive Email Issues

Does anyone have a good example of a responsive email created with Online Express you can share? We are attempting to move our email marketing over to Online Express and finding that whatever template we use, the format looks exactly the same on desktop format as it does on mobile - and specifically, the columns do not stack

    Hi Rachel,

That is interesting. I would like to take a closer look if possible. Can you email me at Michele.Stender@blackbaud.com - maybe also email me a test message of the email that is behaving this way. Thank you!

Michele, I'm new to OLX and having this same issue. I've re-created an email I was going to send in BBNC and copy-catting the format in OLX to test the layout capabilities. The problem I'm having is I had the html in BBNC email set up to be mobile-responsive - specifically parts of the email that display as two columns on a desktop display as stacked columns on a mobile device. Not sure how to accomplish this in OLX. I assumed it would be automatic, but I've sent some tests to my phone and it's not working...

    Hi, Katie!

I apologize for the trouble! This topic has previously been addressed in a separate Community post, which you can access by visiting https://community.blackbaud.com/forums/viewtopic/356/25590?post_id=92286#p92286. The reason emails might not render to a recipient's mobile device is because their mobile device/email client does not support media queries. The following email clients support media queries: https://litmus.com/help/email-clients/media-query-support/   We also have a Knowledgebase article with this information, which you can access at https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/98660.

Thank you and enjoy your day :)
