How do I add facebook share to action alert page?

I tried adding the same code as for a message viewer to an action alert page, but it's not working. The Twitter share function is working fine. Any tips?

Hi Krysta,

That "view in browser" method will work but you just need to change out the entire URL for the Action Alert page you want to share. I'm pasting a more detailed option below. Let me know if you need help with it.


With custom FB button

Hey there. I just found this thread and I thought I would add to it. You can go to http://www.sharelinkgenerator.com and add your link to your alert there and it will add a link that you can add to a graphic button or a text link in an email or on any page that accepts links. To go further, if you want to track traffic coming back to your site via Google Analytics, you can use this Google URL builder before going to Share Link Generator and build Google Analytics tracking metrics into your link: https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/
