Entering Cash/Check Donations into Luminate for e-acknowledgement purposes

We would like to send email acknowledgements to donors that have mailed check/cash donations that include the donation amount and date. Our database is Raiser's Edge and we are using Omatic connector for imports/exports. Has anyone done this and is there a procedure for how to set this up?

You can enter the donations as offline gifts in Luminate, then use a query to create a group of recent offline donations with Last Transaction Tender Type of cash or check. You would then be able to set up an email that pulls in last transaction amount and date. You may want to download a mailmerge of the query information just to double check your list before sending.

One additional note - you already may be set up to send autoresponders to offline donors, in which case you would not need to create a query and separate email!
