I think you'll want to run a report to capture the total amount of gifts from all of your monthly donors. Then use the csv version of that report to do a mail merge into a receipt template.


There are several ways you can run this report, but here's one that I find fairly easy:


Go to Fundraising -> Donation Management -> Donation Reports


Then select a "Donations by Donor" report. In that report in step 4 "Payment Filtering", uncheck "one-time gifts" and "installment gifts" this should leave you with just sustaining gifts selected. Click next (important, that saves the selections).


Then go to step 9 and select "Date Filtering" and select "Last Calendar Year" under the pre-defined ranges and click Next.


Then you can review the selections in "configuration summary". If everything looks good, give the report a label and run it. After you run it there are options to download the report.
