We have scheduled a BBNC message with Send Date for this Thursday and clicked “Send Final” and save


We now want to send this message next Tuesday thus changing the date/time of “Send after date”


Can we change the Send After Date time without copying the message and recreating or deleting the message


If we change the Send after date to later time will it send then or the original time


I hope everyone has a happy holiday and awesome Year End fundraising

    Hello Ken,


    From my understanding, you have to copy the email and set the new scheduled time and "send final" on that email and delete the original so it doesn't send on Thursday. That's what we had to do for an email during the Thanksgiving season.

    Hi Ken, 

    Lindsey is correct - from what I see when I click the "?" icon by the Send After field.  Back in the day, BBNC would send the email any way because it would already be sitting in a queue on BB's email server but it looks like they have changed that so when you delete the original email, it takes it off the server.  Good luck!

    Send after date explained

    After you click Send final, the website does not process the email until the date and time you enter in this field. If you delete the email before that date, the program does not process it and does not send it to recipients. Also, the program disregards the value in this field when you click Send test and immediately sends the test message.
