Editing Snippets

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to change the snippets - the ones we have are pre-populated with donation-specific text which isn't relevant for their planned usage. I've tried tinkering a bit but just end up breaking them. Are there any instructions?

(Edit) Snippets are just S-Tags and conditionals, simple API forms or html blocks.

Hi Brian,

Right now our snippets for Facebook look like this:

This text is from our Basic one-off donation form page. I would like to change this language to use the snippets to encourage people to share a pledge either via email or on social media.

Language to the effect of "thank you for signing the pledge, please ask your friends and family to do the same/ email to a friend / share on Facebook / share on Twitter"

Hopefully this makes sense?

Seems like that is just plain ol html. I bet you want the email and share parts to be hotlinks though.

The email link would use the TellAFriend functionality in LO. https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/63192

You can just build the links manually. Notice that the content has to be 'urlencoded'. Here's a tool to do that: http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/
