Import from PayPal - issues

We are testing and planning to import our PayPal donors and gifts this holiday season. One issue I've encountered is the recurring gifts import as a typical gift. Is there any way to import recurring gift activity and have it hit the recurring gift transactions?

I have done this with Importomatic. You need to include the gift import ID of the recurring gift in the import file.

Hey Marie - when i check out "importomatic", i don't see paypal as an option in the Integrations? Are you currently importing paypal donations (and reoccuring subscriptions) into RE?

I have done this with Importomatic. You need to include the gift import ID of the recurring gift in the import file.

Hi,

Your import file will need the Constituent Import ID and the Import ID for the recurring gift.
You also will need the Constituent ID.

In the admin section under import, use the Recurring Gift Payment under "Gifts".

If you need more help setting up your file, and what I did in PayPal to make it easier, please let me know.
