Hello does anyone else's Organization include Alumni (educational information) as well was Parent (student educational informtaion) in the annual report. If so, when you pull data for annual report and you pull the soft credits how would you go about getting educational information for the soft credits since you can not pull this into the export? After I pull the data for the annual report it is a very manual process for including educational information, was just wondering if there was an easier way. If someone has a copy of their annual report who include educational informaiton can you please attach for my review? thanks!

    When we did them, we created an add/sal specifically for donor reports which included the degree/year and parent year, as appropriate.

    Did you add the add/salutation where it says additonal add/salutations? and I assume you had to manually do that correct? sounds like a lot of work! do you have a copy of your annual report you can send to me?

    We began by entering it in each time a gift was made.  And, yes, it is an additional add/sal. Ours had been printed until 2011-2015 when we began having it online only.  In FY16 we on show two societies our legacy (planned giving) and our consistent donors (5+ years of consective giving). But the names would look like the samples below:


    Jane and John Smith '65 or M'65 or A'65

    or

    Jane Jones Smith '65 and John Smith '65

    or

    Jane Jones Smith '65, P'87 and John Smith '65, P'87

    or

    Sally and Bob Jones P'16

    So you do not use Primary Addressee on the annual report Mr. and Mrs. John Doe? you use first and last name? so you would manually enter the first and last name and the educational information/parental information in the additonal salutation portion like the examples you gave me?

    We built a generic add/sal in configuration and then change when we are in the record. You could also build from an import in excel and concatenate all the fields together - first name, maiden, last, degree, year or parent year.
