Recurring Batches

Options
I just started an employee campaign where I had to create a recurring batch last month with 800 employees.  I named it 5 week period.  I wanted to just "Save As" and name that one 4 week period, but it won't let me copy a batch and now I need to recreate the entire batch again.  Might I make a suggestion to allow for copying over batches for these purposes?  Thanks!

Sorry Harriet, I'm not quite sure what you/why you are having to recreate the batch again.  If the batch is recurring it can be committed multiple times. In the set up the gift date/post date can be changed.  Can you explain a bit more?

I used to use a recurring batch for employee payroll gifts.  I changed and find it much easier to use a new batch with the Tools >Generate transactions.  I base this on a query of the staff with payroll gifts.

We use recurring batches for credit cards processed thru our finance dept. You need to use the original recurring batch, not the most recently saved. Be sure the  "Batch is recurring " is selected.
