Is there a way to change the default batch ID that comes up?  We are on a fiscal year, so are in FY17 right now, but our batches come up as 2016-1 etc.  We only converted to Raiser's Edge last week, so are very new to all this!  We tried to change the default, but couldn't see a way to do it.

    Config > Business Rules > Batch Options


    (I happened to just be there myself, adjusting a business rule setting.)  However, it doesn't look like Fiscal Year is an option, only Calendar Year.  You can change the Next Available Batch Number to 17001 which would then give you enough batches to get thru the FY, and on July 1 you would just need to go adjust that Next Available Batch Number to 18001 for FY18.

    Unfortunately I don't think you can change the year from 2016 to 2017 in Config > Business Rules > Batch Options. The only way to have it say 2017 would be to manually change the Batch Number every time your create a Batch.
