LO only for donation form - use corporate website for rest

Options
Hi there - I'm looking for samples of other organizations that only use Luminate Online for the forms and host the rest of their online content through their corporate website. We're transitioning from BBNC to LO/Team Raiser right now. We had previously hosted all our fundraising content in the BBNC environment, which we linked to from our corporate website. It looks like we're moving towards hosting our content on the corporate website and only using LO for forms and email communications. Is this what others do? How does this work? Would you mind providing sample URLs? Or if you don't do this, what are your favourite charity websites that use LO in this fashion? Thanks!

  • Hi Kimberley:

    We purchased Luminate/TeamRaiser two
years ago and were still using NetCommunity for our Foundation
    website and donations.
When the Hospital was rebranding their website, they decided the
Foundation would also be rebranded and moved to their site, but we
would manage the fundraising part on the Luminate side.  We had HCJ design a template for us to use and created all
of our donation forms in Luminate.  Because the design is the same on
the Hospital side, you can’t really tell you left the site to make
    a donation.  It works
great for us as we can now have as many donation forms we want for
    different campaigns.  If
you want to see how this works go to   https://www.stamfordhealth.org/
and click on Stamford Hospital Foundation.  The landing page is hosted on the
    Hospital side.  Once you
click on one of the Ways to Give boxes, you are taken to
    Luminate.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi Kimberly,

We do this at Lurie Children's as well. I work for the Foundation and our hospital site is separate.

You can see our hospital site here: luriechildrens.org

Then use the top right Donate Now button to see how our donation form looks just like the hospital site. We have our page wrapper set up to be exactly the same. We also have many other donation pages and event websites that have customized look and feels depending what that event is. We just always have the hospital logo on those. I can provide examples if you want.

We also using Luminate Online for almost all of our e-mail communication. There are only a few 'rogue' ones that are sent out by the hospital, and those we are trying to move to Luminate. With everything in Luminate, you can have one unsubscribe area and make it easy for your constituents to receive what they want.

Let us know if this helps,

    Thanks,

    Phil
  • We use LO for donation forms and the content for the website is done in Word Press (http://fenwayhealth.org/)

    We use Hubspot for emails

Though I think we are going to revisit using LO for emails once we check out Luminate Beta
