Validation Report not printing and freezing the RE session

I have been having issues when I try to print a validation report from a batch of gifts. Not every time, but more often than is fun, it will get to the Printing Report dialog box and then freeze.  We are in a hosted environment and the only way I can get past this is to do a hard shut down of RE, completely shut down my machine and then log back on and try again.  Sometimes I have to do the complete shutdown process multiple times to get the report to print.  When I searched Knowledgebase, it says that they are looking into it and that I should preview the report first and then print.  I have done this and it also freezes. Not much help. 


I am not the only user that this happens to but it doesn't happen on a regular basis so we can't pinpoint what causes the problem.  Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to resolve it.

  • We've had a similar problem with printing reports. We found that printing from the preview would cause problems but if we saved the PDF and printed from the saved file, it worked.
