Processing Offline Non-Donation Revenue

Our organization is fairly new to using LO. We're trying to figure out the best method for processing offline non-donation revenue and we're not sure how to proceed. We received the credit card information from a local business who is using our venue for a fee. As this is not a donation, we don't want to process the gift through LO and have it flow into Raiser's Edge. Our processor is PayFlow Pro, but from my limited understanding of the product (I'm not in our finance department) there is no way to enter offline gifts/revenue. Does anyone have any suggestions for us?

    Hi Lily, when you say 'process', do you actually intend to use LO for process the payment through BBMS? Or do you need just a way to capture the revenue so that you can later on report on it?

    We are using LO to process all donations -- but we're actually using PayFlow Pro instead of BBMS. Since I posted this, our Finance Department figured out how to process credit cards with PayFlow, therefore bypassing Luminate and the potential issue of having non-donation revenue flow through Luminate into RE. We are entering all offline gifts into LO for processing.

    For future reference you can create a donation form that is both offline/online by going into the donation form itself under the first step - 6. Interaction Mode - online/offline.  If you set that to take both or just offline, you will be able to look up a constituent and process an offline gift.  This will flow through to RE, if you are connected via plugin or connector.
