How to include Message Type in Email Reports

I have built an Email Message report using Report Writer that includes performance and response statistics with the goal of analyzing the emails across campaigns and message types. I do not see where I can include the Message Type selected in the "Select a type for this message:" field on the individual email messages in the report. I would like to utilize this designation in my analysis.


Is there a report that includes the Message Type field?

    It isn't possible to report on message types. You would have to manually retreive this information.
