Processing Transactions on the Back End

Options
If I wanted to start processing transactions on the back end through Luminate, where would i go?


 


I know we used to be able to go to person's actual record and make the transaction, I don't see that anymore.


Please help.

    Hi Kelly,


    Are you talking about processing offline gifts? You should be able to do so on the Transactions tab of a person's constituent record. It's in the middle of the page.


    If you are using another database, such as Raiser's Edge or Luminate CRM, we recommend processing gifts through those systems, unless they are credit card gifts.

     

  • Yes, that is exactly what I am talking about. That function seems to be missing from the consituients page under the transaction tab.  Is there somewhere else I am not looking?

  • Hi Kelly, 


    You have to make sure that your active donation forms are set to allow offline transactions. This is set at each Donation Form level, under: 

    Fundraising > Donation Management > All Donation Forms (tab) > Edit (Donation Form) > Step 1. Identify Donation Form > 6. Interaction Mode (must be set to include an offline option)


    Once set, you should see the "Gift Entry" option in Constituent 360, under the Transactions tab for all constituents.
