Change a batch name after it is committed

If you're concerned about changing the gift metadata (from within the gift, file > properties), then I would create a query of all committed gifts with the wrong batch name, globally delete them, then change the batch to recurring and re-commit the batch. If you're integrated with FE and already posted these gifts, you will want to mark all of these new gifts as posted globally, or change the GL Post status within the batch before you commit them. There shouldn't be a need to adjust/reverse any of these gifts in this case because you're re-committing them in the exact format that you committed them the first time.
