I'm building a new online express form. I need the fund options to be:


Program support

Scholarship support

Both


Obviously I can get Program and Scholarship with the funds that I want them to go into, but I cannot get my both option. I need the both option to go into the same funds as program and support with a split designated by the donor, also needed on the form.


Any suggestions?

    Unfortunately, I think you will have to do this with the Comment Field or a Gift Attribute.  You could create a new (temporary) Fund in RE for "both" and then when a donor chooses that designation, they specify below (Comment or Gift Attribute) what the split should be.  After you download transactions to RE, you'd have to go in and fix the data entry to make it a split gift between the proper Funds and no longer in the temporary "both" Fund.


    Sort of depends on how many of these you expect to get.

    Thanks Jen. That was the solution I came up with also and was trying to avoid. I'll move forward! I appreicate your help.
