Is this for all proposals, ie golf tournaments, gala event, inovation center, etc. Thanks

If you have the Prospect module then you definitely want to use the Proposal function that's included.

The proposal allows you to capture a lot of information - you can link to solicitor(s), assign status codes, type of gift, what you asked/expect/actually received and dates, create and relate actions to the proposal, add notes, media and attributes. And when you receive the gift, you can link to the proposal. Lots of functionality here you'd be hard-pressed to try to replicate just using actions
It's its own little 'world' of data about the proposal, that you can use throughout the proposal process as well as afterwards for analysis and easy reference to this information.

Ours specificlly is for major gifts/planned gifts. It's how we track gifts over $10,000 that are projected to come in and those that have been funded and closed.
