Online Express unsubscribe option

Hi
We've recently started using RE and Online Express for fundraising purposes and also for non-fundraising purpoes as a communication tool for our members. This means we send out a variety of different types of communication i.e. organisational newsletters as well as fundraising direct mail. Our understanding is that when you unsubscribe from any one of our online express emails i.e. fundraising direct mail, you are are unsubscribing from all communications from our organisation, not just from the specific email we are sending out -i.e. the fundraising direct mail. We would like to offer more than one unsubscribe option - i.e. unsubscribe from our newsletter, unsubscribe from fundraising emails. Has anyone else had the same problem and found a way to get around it?

    You are correct.  It is currently an all-or-nothing option.


    Check out the OLX Idea Bank and specifically this Idea and this Idea, which are both related, particularly the comment from Chris Martin (bb staff) on the second.  Also this, older, Idea is related.  There are probably several others out there, but this is what I came across first when searching for "unsubscribe".

    Yes, REOnEx simpy holds a blacklist of all of those who have unsubscibed.

    If you want to offer some other options I guess you could do put a hyperlink somewhere into the email to somewhere that would give the supporter the relevant options and then channel that into solicit codes/attributes that then feed into the relevant queries.
