Linking Organizations

Options
I'm looking for best practices on linking two or multiple organizations together in Raiser's Edge. For example a senior center, daycare center and community center are all operate under the umbrella of a neighborhood association. Right now, we would link them with relationship codes like Parent Organization (neighborhood association) and Child Organization (all the centers). But what about linking the 'child' organizations together? Are there a better terms for parent/child orgs?

    I don't know if there is a best practice.  We use "Parent Co / HQ / Corp Offices" and "Local Company/Branch".  We have a relationship type of "Sister store/business" but we haven't used it very much. 


    For businesses like banks we've used the parent option on the org 2 tab but it hasn't been that useful for us.  Just not a need.
